Spirit House

A trip to Thailand in 1997 was the inspiration to this water feature. That is where the spirits of the ancestors are worshipped. In every garden there is such a house made of concrete. Every day gifts like fresh flowers, bananas or even a coke (depending on the ancestor’s taste) are placed inside the tiny house. The ladder helps the spirit to climb up to the house.
