The product lines at a glance
The range covers two focus areas: garden fountains for outdoor use and indoor fountains for living spaces and conservatories.
Among the garden fountains are the powerful Mekong waterfall (in three sizes: I, II, III), the elegant Halbmond garden fountain, and the pond fountains of the Pool series. The Mekong series produces a wide, calmly flowing waterfall — meditative, quiet, and architecturally clear.
Indoor fountains such as the TAO series and the W-IV indoor fountain run without a fixed water connection: they are filled from a water reservoir and only require a power outlet. Ideal for living rooms, offices, reception areas, and hotel lobbies.
Material and craftsmanship
All fountains are made from stainless steel — corrosion-resistant, easy to care for, and long-lasting. Some models combine stainless steel with natural stone for a more organic accent. The pumps are quiet, energy-efficient, and easy to replace.
Winter care
Outdoor fountains should be drained before the first frost and the pump stored in a dry place. Stainless steel itself is frost-resistant — only standing water in lines and basins can cause damage in severe frost.

Which fountain suits a small garden?
For smaller gardens and terraces we recommend the compact pond fountains of the Pool series or the Halbmond garden fountain. They add a calm accent without dominating. The floating water tap is also an unusual alternative when space is limited.
How loud is a fountain by Michael Krauss?
Our fountains are designed to produce a gentle, calming sound — not a loud splash. The Mekong waterfall delivers a smooth, even cascade; the indoor models in the TAO and W series are deliberately tuned to a whisper-quiet, meditative water sound.
Do I need a water connection in the garden?
No. All fountains run on a closed water cycle — a pump circulates the water from the basin back up. You only need a power outlet (230 V) nearby. Top-ups against evaporation are needed occasionally, depending on weather and basin size.
Can I order a fountain in a custom size?
